Jane Shure, Ph.D.

Jane Shure, PhD, LCSW, is a Philadelphia based psychotherapist known for her expertise in treating trauma, shame, eating disorders and self-esteem. She is a highly regarded trainer of healthcare professionals and, for 30 years, has been leading personal growth workshops in the Philadelphia area and at the Kriplau Center in Lenox, MA.  

Named a “Top Doc for Women” by Philadelphia Magazine, Jane co-founded  the “Inside Outside Self-Discovery Program,” an eating disorder prevention curriculum for middle-school girls, and also co-founded www.selfmatters.org, a website dedicated to strengthening self-esteem. She is a board member and chair of the medical committee for A Chance to Heal Foundation.
