Introduction to Meditation

This introductory session will teach you the basic principles of meditation, such as how to:
- Establish the proper mindset for meditation
- Utilize proper body positions to receive the optimal benefits from meditation
- Breathe properly
- Control unwanted thoughts
You will discover several different forms of meditation and will learn some basic tips that can start you on a practice that can transform your life.
Merrick has been practicing meditation and the martial arts for more than 20 years. He founded the Kodo School of Karate with his wife Traci Rosenberg to help children, adults, and entire families to gain the benefits of karate in a truly supportive environment. His purpose as a teacher has always been to help individuals strengthen the body, focus the mind, and energize the spirit as they learn the deeper spiritual lessons that have been passed down by masters throughout the generations.
